FMM President Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok, together with FMM Deputy President, Dato Andrew Goh, and FMM Vice-President Ms Michelle Hah Mei Kian, received a courtesy call from Mr Kian Heng PEH, Malaysia Mission Chief of ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) , on January 28, 2026.

The discussion covered Malaysia’s current economic performance and outlook, as well as key risks and challenges arising from regional and global developments. AMRO will subsequently prepare an analytical report on the Malaysian economy, with a particular focus on the performance and challenges faced by the manufacturing sector.
